Understanding the physics behind drift-free, heavy-use industrial touchscreen panels.
In standard 4-wire resistive panels, touch coordinates are calculated alternately using both the bottom (glass) and the top (film) ITO layers. As the upper film layer flexes with use, its conductive coating degrades, causing spatial drift and calibration loss. The 5-wire resistive architecture solves this operational risk: both the X and Y coordinates are measured on the highly stable bottom glass substrate, while the top polyester film acts purely as a voltage probe. Even if the film is scratched, torn, or contaminated, spatial coordinates remain fully linear, guaranteeing continuous, maintenance-free operations.
| Performance Indicator | 4-Wire Resistive Screen | 5-Wire Resistive Screen | Projected Capacitive (PCAP) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Actuation Method | Pressure (Fingers, Gloves, Stylus) | Pressure (Fingers, Gloves, Stylus, Tools) | Conductive Contact (Bare finger, Thin glove) |
| Point Lifespan | ~1 Million Operations | >35 Million Operations | Virtually Unlimited (Glass faceplate) |
| Scratch Durability | Poor (Scratches lead to failure) | Excellent (Will work with cuts/tears) | Extremely High (Hardened Cover Glass) |
| Calibration Drift | Frequent (Requires recalibration) | Zero Drift (Calibration-free) | Zero Drift (Calibrated at production) |
| Operating Temp Range | Standard (-10°C to +60°C) | Wide-Temperature (-30°C to +80°C) | Industrial Rated (-20°C to +70°C) |
We leverage our 10+ years of industrial experience to design interfaces that pass strict compliance audits and withstand harsh environmental conditions.
Certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. We maintain fully auditable product tracking, ensuring that raw material selection (from ITO film down to FPC flex tails) matches the rigorous needs of healthcare and aerospace hardware.
Equipped with Class 100, Class 1000, and Class 10000 cleanrooms. This clean workspace prevents microscopic debris from embedding in optical bonding layers, avoiding optical distortions and electrical shorts.
Recognized as a High-Tech Enterprise of Guangdong Province in 2022. We hold more than 30 technology patents and constantly pioneer high-transmittance, low-reflection touch films to improve screen readability under direct sunlight.
From operating rooms to oil fields, our panels perform reliably under heavy, repetitive daily use.
Built to handle harsh chemical spills, heavy grease, and vibrations. Seamlessly integrates with machinery controllers, allowing operators to make inputs with thick work gloves.
Meets strict electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) regulations. The chemically strengthened glass structures support washdowns with harsh cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
Engineered for high solar radiation and temperature variations (-30°C to +80°C). Features optical bonding to prevent internal condensation and improve readability under direct sunlight.
Providing our customers with tailored material structures and custom components.
We custom design FPC tail dimensions, pin locations, layout bends, and shielding wraps to prevent noise issues when integrating panels into tight enclosures.
We use OCA (Optically Clear Adhesive) and LOCA (Liquid Optically Clear Adhesive) inside our cleanrooms to laminate touch sensors directly to LCDs, eliminating air gaps to optimize optical performance.
Optimize your hardware ergonomics using custom optical treatments, including Anti-Glare (AG), Anti-Reflective (AR), and Anti-Fingerprint/Anti-Smudge (AF/AS) coatings.
Based on our company's core values of honest, pragmatic, innovative, and progressive teamwork, Guangzhou Xiangrui Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. continues to research and integrate new materials and processes. Our mission is to keep clients competitive in dynamic market spaces through rapid, stable manufacturing services.
Maintaining strong partnerships with top global component suppliers allows us to secure high-quality raw materials. Every batch is tracked, ensuring our touch screen displays perform reliably in outdoor kiosks, medical diagnostic equipment, and automotive control consoles.
